First Day

    Today was my first day interning at the Maui Food Bank, My internship title is an office aid. Today I logged in numbers and sent out thank you letters to people who donated food to the Maui Food Bank. I also helped put food on the shelves.
     I learned that the Maui Food Bank buys the food as bulks mainly from the mainland and Oahu, they do not distribute the food to the homeless. Smaller agencies call to set an appointment and they come to collect what food they need and those agencies distribute the food out to those who are hungry.
    

Still searching..

     I am still currently looking for a nursing intership, and having no luck. I went to Maui Medical Group and they never called me back. Im thinking that I might have to find something else,  or similar, a place where I could learn about what people who cant afford certain things need in the area of medical supplies.

Searching

Im am still currently searching for a nursing internship, I have went to many different places for information  but never got a call from them yet. I'm going to keep looking, if I don't find one in the medical field I would have to think of something else.
